04 / FAQ

Questions about segment redaction

Which tags are selected by default?

The form suggests common identity, address, contact, reference, and demographic tags, but you must tailor the list to the document and your obligations.

Does the tool store the original?

No server receives it. The original remains in the input field in this tab so you can compare and verify the redaction.

Can I safely share the result without review?

No. Always inspect the entire result because sensitive values may exist in any segment or free-text element.
