- Segment tags are matched case-insensitively and exactly.
Limitations
- Sensitive data can occur in unselected segments, free text, filenames, or envelope identifiers.
- Redaction is not anonymization and does not guarantee compliance with any privacy regime.

Questions about segment redaction
Which tags are selected by default?
The form suggests common identity, address, contact, reference, and demographic tags, but you must tailor the list to the document and your obligations.
Does the tool store the original?
No server receives it. The original remains in the input field in this tab so you can compare and verify the redaction.
Can I safely share the result without review?
No. Always inspect the entire result because sensitive values may exist in any segment or free-text element.
